Sandbox survival-builder TerraTech Worlds Launches On Steam

Published on |

Built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5 and optimized for large scale simulation, the sandbox survival successor to the million selling TerraTech will now begin its roadmap journey as TerraTech Worlds has been added into Steam Early Access for $29.99.

TerraTech Worlds launches as one Steam’s most anticipated sandbox games of 2024, with the PvE builder offering players a unique multiplayer experience that supports up to 6 players.

“With TerraTech Worlds we wanted to create a rich, immersive sandbox that drew from our ten years of experience working on its predecessor, TerraTech.” says CEO and Founder, Russ Clarke.

“With this ground-up reimagining, we wanted to provide players with a deep, layered experience that brought together immersive and diverse landscapes, expressive base building and automation, spherical planets, oceans and terrain deformation – so fans of games like Satisfactory and Valheim can enjoy those types of experiences, combined with TerraTech’s intuitive block-building gameplay.”

TerraTech Worlds invites players to delve into a vast 300km² planet teeming with diverse biomes, dynamic weather, bandit factions and natural hazards. Explore dense forests, discover inspiring vistas, and engage your creativity as you design, craft, and build vehicles, bases, and automated factories.

Forge alliances and band together with up to six fellow Prospectors in online co-op to maximise your chances of survival, raiding enemy bases and conquering new territory. Prepare to immerse yourself in a richly detailed world where collaboration is essential to survive the alien frontier.
