VISUALS

This is, without a doubt, the best-looking Forza Motorsports game to date. In fact, it’s arguably one of the best-looking racing games ever released on console. To be fair to Sony, Gran Turismo 7 is a gorgeous game in its own right, but it was made for last gen and it simply doesn’t have the level of detail presented here.

In fact, the attention to detail is truly astonishing. The cars and tracks are almost indistinguishable from real-life counterparts. From the sleek curves of the cars to the intricate textures of the tracks, every aspect has been meticulously crafted to create a visually stunning experience.

The level of detail extends as far as the eye can see, making the draw distance equally impressive. The lighting has been completely revamped and looks fantastic, and the dynamic time-of-day and weather system is truly the best in the series. Turn 10 has definitely set a new standard, surpassing what Evolution Studios achieved with Driveclub on Playstation and that game still holds up well today.

They said the game was built from the ground up for next gen and it shows.

GAMEPLAY

It’s worth noting that while Forza offers the option to fine-tune your experience, it doesn’t impose it on players who are not interested in that level of customization. The game strikes a balance by providing a solid default control scheme that is enjoyable for casual players, while also catering to the needs of more competitive gamers who seek to optimize their performance.

Whether you prefer a racing wheel or a controller, Forza ensures that you can have a satisfying and immersive racing experience, regardless of your skill level or gaming preferences.

REPLAYABILITY

In career mode, you will find a wide variety of races to complete, totaling around 111 different races. These races include the three initial races to help you get started and also include a multitude of other challenges.     As you progress through the game, you will have the opportunity to unlock and upgrade numerous cars, allowing you to enhance your performance in each event.

Additionally, the game offers Featured Tours, which introduce new races/events for you to participate in. These tours provide fresh content and are updated frequently. If you’re looking for a more competitive racing experience, you can test your skills in the multiplayer mode. The game offers both Multiplayer Spec and Open Events, allowing you to compete against other players from around the world.

If you’re a fan of racing games, there’s definitely a lot to do here even if online racing is not your thing.

However, one of the major issues I have is the absence of numerous tracks that were present in the previous Forza games. The current selection of tracks lack variety and, to put it simply, are rather dull.

Despite the recent addition of the Yas Marina Circuit and the promise of more tracks in the future, the absence of popular tracks such as Long Beach, Prague, Rio, and Dubai significantly diminishes the replay value of the game as it feels like you’re racing on the same tracks over and over again.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best-looking racing games ever released on console. However, it's not without its flaws. The current track selection tends to blend together and the tedious requirements in order to race in career mode make for a lackluster, repetitive experience.

+ Gorgeous visuals – responsive controls
Not a lot of track variety

I really enjoyed this game despite its flaws. Since it’s included with Game Pass I would definitely recommend playing it. Especially if you're a horror fan.

QTR: Q*Bert: Rebooted | Playstation

While it’s not arcade perfect, this is by the far the best home console release of Q*Bert to-date. Q*Bert Rebooted ... the other mode in this bundle is complete garbage.
