It’s been over two and a half years since Kena: Bridge of Spirits was first released on PlayStation and the Epic Store (September 2021). Since that time, the only other platform to receive a port was Steam, which released in September of 2022.
While the developer didn’t confirm any plans for an Xbox version, he didn’t rule it out either. When speaking with SegmentNext in 2021 Co-founder and COO of Ember Lab, Josh Grier had this to say about the possibility of bringing Kena to other platforms.
“We are currently focused on our launches for PlayStation and Epic Games Store, which are timed exclusives,” he said. “We will look into other platform releases after launch and a rest.”
While no formal announced has been made yet, it appears as though the wait may be over for Xbox only players as the game was just rated for Xbox series X/S by the US ESRB.
We’ll report back once an formal announcement has been made.
