Dragon’s Dogma 2 Sales Top 2.5 Million Units!

Published on |

Capcom Co., Ltd. announced today that Dragon’s Dogma 2 sales have surpassed 2.5 million units worldwide since being released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC March 22, 2024. That numbers brings the Dragon’s Dogma series cumulative sales to just over 10 million units.

While Dragon’s Dogma 2 was initially praised by fans and critics at launch, it has since fallen out of favor due to the complaints regarding performance issues including game crashes, bugs/glitches and the backlash over microtransactions in the game.

Capcom has since responded to the backlash stating “All the items listed below can be obtained in-game or as paid DLC items”.

  • Art of Metamorphosis – Character Editor
  • Ambivalent Rift Incense – Change Pawn Inclinations
  • Portcrystal – Warp Location Marker
  • Wakestone – Restore the dead to life!
  • 500 Rift Crystals / 1500 Rift Crystals / 2500 Rift Crystals – Points to Spend Beyond the Rift
  • Makeshift Gaol Key – Escape from gaol!
  • Harpysnare Smoke Beacons – Harpy Lure Item

They’ve also released a patch to address most of the concerns with more fixes on the way.
