Despite Bethesda’s announcement about updating Fallout 4 for Xbox Series X/S and Playstation 5 in October 2022, there have been no subsequent updates on the game’s development. The only information we have is from Pete Hines, who mentioned it while interacting with a fan on X (formerly Twitter) after he announced his retirement from Bethesda.
I did try getting an update before I left. Nothing concrete enough I could share.

There has been speculation that Bethesda plans to release the remastered version alongside the new Fallout series coming to Amazon Prime Video on April 12th, 2024. Either way, we’ll know soon enough and hopefully we won’t have to wait much longer.
