Microsoft officially announced their upcoming Xbox Games Showcase scheduled for Sunday, June 9th, 2024, starting at 10AM PT / 1PM ET. Immediately followed by a mysterious ‘REDACTED’ Direct.
While it was initially reported that Microsoft will tease the next Call of Duty release during the event, sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans have informed Tom Warren (The Verge) that this mysterious Direct event will, in fact, be a deep dive into the next installment of Call of Duty.
Warren has also said that Microsoft plans to announce a new Gears of War as well as release dates for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Avowed, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
Since this will be Microsoft’s first showcase event since acquiring Activision/Blizzard, hopefully we’ll get more information regarding their plans to include Activision’s titles in Game Pass beyond Diable IV.
